Yesterday a lot of my friends graduated from Multnomah University and Biblical Seminary from the undergraduate and graduate programs. I am getting ready to go to a dinner to celebrate one of my friend’s completion of their Master of Divinity degree. I was able to participate in the awards ceremony to give a student from the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program the second Jennica Kruse Award. This award is a scholarship given to an outstanding student in the MAT program who represents and demonstrates the same heart and passion for teaching children as Jennica, and to continue her legacy here at MU.
My classes are finished until the summer semester starts in the middle of next month. I felt very accomplished this semester because I was able to learn a lot about through my classes in Human Growth & Development, Educational Research, and the Ministry Project for the after-school program that I helped start. God is teaching me how to use my passion and gifts to lead, serve, and love others with the Gospel.
I am very excited for the future because I am finishing up my Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies by next May, working for the student ministries at Central Bible as an intern, and continuing to look for opportunities to become a full-time youth pastor/worker. Please pray for my studies and boldness to continue to share the Gospel and obey God with my whole heart. I thank God for all the support, love, and comments from people who consistently read my blog. You are all a blessing to me.
