Will a non-European Pope be the change that is needed?

Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio was elected Pope today. He’s from Argentina and will take the name of Francis I. I want to take a poll from my viewers and ask “Will a non-European Pope be the change that is needed to bring needed reforms to the Catholic Church?” I think that this may be a good step, because the Global South is where the bulk of Catholic Christians live. Let me know what you think!

  1. I think he is full blooded Italian, just born in Argentina. Do you think that being born in a European family, but living in the Americas will make a difference more than if he was just born into an American family?

Let me know what you think!
