So I’ve decided in order to keep up blogging as a routine that I am going to come up with some series that will be interesting in different areas such as Bible study, cultural engagement, spiritual formation, and youth ministry (after all this is a blog dedicated to helping reach youth!).
As you might have noticed yesterday I am starting a series leading up to the New Wine, New Wineskins conference on immigration April 27th. It is titled “Hating Emma Lazarus”…my next post in this series will be about the loss of cultural symbols and a national story that unites us and how that might be a possibility for good dialogue and intercultural ministry to occur.
I also am going to start a series called “At the end of the Day” which begins today. It will be reflections on different Christian living and spiritual formation topics such as prayer, worship, preaching, witnessing, and generosity.
This next month is February which means two things: Valentine’s day and The Justice Conference! Two very different events, but very important topics to cover in them.
Lastly, I will be reading through the book of Mark the next couple of weeks. This book has always been a good one to read and reflect on. So when I see something I will definitely post it!
Also, I hope you have noticed that I’ve been posting my weekly Bible reading. The last two weeks have been crazy so I’ll try to update you all on it by Saturday. I hope you are all doing well. If you have topics you want to hear about leave a comment, send a Facebook message, or tweet me!
