Ever get discouraged by technological inability?

I know I do. Even for as much blogging, tweeting, facebooking, and emailing that I do I wish that I could do cool effects, edit videos, and be more creative and interactive with technology. David Penuel writes an article in Collide Magazine called “5 Important Skills for Church Leaders.”

Here are the 5 pieces of advice he gives:

1. Tweet
2. Brand
3. Collaborate with Artists
4. Upload and publish
5. Learn

These skills allow us to relate better with people about the organization or church that we represent and in some cases such as tweeting and collaborating with artists it allows us to relate with people in and outside of our comfort levels. God wants us to shape how we use technology in ministry to communicate His glory with others so that they will come to know Him.
